The national “Don’t be an S.O.V.” campaign is calling on commuters to take a ride in the HOV lane. Changing how you commute even one day a week will make a difference.
By increasing the use of carpooling, vanpooling, and public transit options we could take 1 million cars off the road each day. Biking, walking, or telecommuting can also help achieve the goal.
By changing our habits, we could save over 350 million gallons of gasoline each year.
Please do your part and ask yourself if you really need to be an SOV.
And remember, friends don’t let friends be an SOV.
